"If you cannot make the world a better place with your work, at least make sure you don't make it worse" - Herman Hertzberger

I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a master's degree in Architecture. I believe that architecture, while creating beautiful spaces, is also a medium for problem solving. Aligned with that thought, I have begun to explore how sustainable design strategies and building modelling  can be used to reduce/ optimize energy use in buildings. Given the buildings surpass automobiles in energy consumption, these tools combined with informed research can benefit the environment (reduce energy consumption and pollution), economics ( reduce building  costs ) and equity ( improve quality of people's daily lives).

Apart from architecture, I am a trivia hunter for the rest of the day. I enjoy writing and explore ideas related to social capital, behavioral economics , geography, mythology, and stand -up poetry.
